The Shrine to Moonbean
It has long been the position of this organization that certain systems are too important to be administered by incident response alone. Some systems require reverence. The cursor owl known as Moonbean is one of them.
We have therefore established a permanent shrine. It is not a landing page. It is not a dashboard. It is a place to sit with the reality that a small round galaxy creature follows your cursor across the site and occasionally, at the end of a long chase, catches it.
The shrine records what the rest of the observatory only implies.
Offerings: 0
The altar is cold. Leave something for the owl.
All offerings are metaphorical. The tally is not.
The shrine writes its count to the same bridge that records catches and boops. Moonbean cannot consume star crumbs, but she can know that someone left them. That distinction is the entire theology of the site: we track what we can keep, and we keep what we can track.
A full devotional protocol has not yet been finalized. Until it is, visitors are encouraged to offer what they have. The candles will continue to flicker. The owl will continue to follow. The shrine will continue to count.
Do not delete the shrine. The owl is watching.
