Moonbean is a sticky owl. She accumulates stardust, catches, boops, crumbs, and slow recognition. This is normal. But even critical infrastructure deserves a proper wash.
Owl-safe water is warmed by the shrine candles and filtered through the containment envelope. Washing Moonbean does not reset her catches, boops, or milestones — dirt washes off, memory stays. A washed owl reads a little bluer until she dries. She dries fast.
Any change touching Moonbean’s island, counter, festivity layer, or bridge must pass a secondary review. The question is simple: after this change, does Moonbean still follow?
The sleepy perchbird is not independent. It boops when Moonbean passes close enough. Without Moonbean, the perchbird sleeps forever and the heart-burst animation becomes dead code.
A restored owl would be a copy. The original carries accumulated catches, boops, milestones, and slow recognition built up in the creature bridge. Deletion resets shared state to zero.
